Latest Sewing Endeavor

I had some extra time towards the end of my Spring Break.

So, I practiced making another wristlet.

It definitely turned out better than the last one I made.

Sewing on the velcro was the hardest for me.

Next time I will find something else to close the top.

Maybe a zipper?

I'm also on the lookout for a new sewing machine.

Any suggestions?

Too good.

About 2 months ago I was introduced to this restaurant by my friend Paula.

Let me preface by saying...

I've lived in the Charlotte area for 6 years and never once have I been to this place.

Needless to say, I had to take my Dad there when he was visiting during Spring Break.

The best things to get are...

Grandma's Pie.

and

Cannoli.

Two thumbs way down.

A few weeks ago (during spring break)

my Dad and I saw..

Hot Tub Time Machine.

I must be honest

It was a complete waste of money.

Haven't heard of the movie?  Don't worry I'll update you.

It's about 4 guys in 2010.  They get in a Hot Tub and go back to 1986.

DONE.  That's it, nothing dramatic or exciting.

I saw too many naked women,

too many people doing drugs,

and too many people cheating on their significant others.

Not for me, not even funny.

Spring

Dear Spring,

Today is the last day of Spring Break for me :(
Tomorrow starts back with the daily grind of work.

But, we're that much closer to summer!

My Dad is leaving to go back to NY today :(

Very sad, but I do know that in a few short months I will see him during Summer Break!

That's the good thing about teaching...

Paddle Boating

Saturday, my Dad and I went paddle boating at the Boardwalk in Charlotte!

When we were finished we sat and people watched for about a good hour!
