I made two for my class and two for the other teacher next door, Mrs. Taylor.

(FINISHED!)It has been quite a while since I've felt "crafty"--partly because I haven't had the time--and because when I start a project I like to finish it in one sitting.
Craft 1: "Hall Passes"--I've been giving the students in my class a laminated index card anytime that they needed to leave the room.--Totally boring, and very unoriginal. So, I wanted to spruce up the normal hall pass. --This craft I hope to finish today! As soon as I'm done I will be sure to post the "finished" project. Here's a peak of the "before."

Here is the newest accessory for my bathroom! The apartment that I live in does not have a lot of space to hang things. So I went to Hobby Lobby and got this piece on sale!
...and the idea was to paint it white with navy details
...but as you can see, that's not how the finished product looks!
So, the little girl I babysit LOVES puzzles. Along with her love of puzzles comes the destruction of puzzles. By destruction I mean she pulls the top layer off of the puzzle. Well her Mom asked me if I wanted her old puzzle. I thought sure (not really knowing what I was going to do with it.) Well, three hours after I got home this is what I came up with!
Finished Product. My coffee table is cluttered with a ton of junk. It is right there when you walk into my apartment. Remotes, keys, magazines-they all land on the coffee table. So, I was walking through Wal-Mart the other day and saw this really cute tray. It was plain wood with no color. I was feeling crafty (as I have all summer!) so I decided to paint it blue and add some kind of accent to it. This is what I ended up with:
I used a stencil for the swirly flowers.
