Hello.

Whew, I got so sick yesterday. Let me tell you...it was not a pretty sight. But, this morning I'm feeling much better!

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next.

So, there is a blog that I have found and I love reading. The author is Stephanie Nielson and she writes the "NieNie Dialogues." Interested in reading? (Go ahead!) --Trust me it is worth it because her story is amazing!

Anyway, she has a new blog called "Nie and You"--And the purpose of this blog is so cool!! It tracks Stephanie's life in Utah, for an entire year through daily pictures. And what makes it more special is that you can compare the pictures to those of her friend, Katja, who lives in Germany.

Confused?--Well NieNie was inspired by the book called '3191 ~ a year of mornings'.

Here's a little synopsis of the book written by the New York Times:

... these are vignettes of simple everyday things: a cup of coffee, soft-boiled eggs, rain boots kicked off at the front door, the stem of a flower, many crumpled napkins, many spoons. Though the two women were 3,191 miles apart the images are complementary in their color and composition more often than not. Sometimes startlingly so. The blog, and the book that followed after a year’s worth of images (and 3,000 visitors a day from Australia to Iceland), capture the rhythms of everyday life, often surprising the viewer by the sheer beauty of the most quotidian element. That each woman paused to record the curve of a daughter’s ear, a bowl of cereal or a shadow cast across the floor before sitting down in front of a computer is an act that carries with it the most clichéd, yet essential, of all messages: stop and smell the roses (and the coffee, the toast, the morning air). We’re living in difficult times, and it seems it’s exactly these tiny details and fleeting moments that can offer us the most solace and even joy. —Allison Arieff, The New York Times

So, there are some random issues happening between Time Warner Cable and Fox television in my area of NC. Originally, I thought no big deal...I don't like anything on Fox.

Then my roommate comes home a few minutes ago and reminds me that my very own GLEE is on Fox!! Oh no, what am I going to do...this makes living vicariously through my television very hard.

I'm really hoping for online episodes...keep your fingers crossed!!!

So

When times are hard and I am very frustrated, my Mom always reminds me to go to God with my fears and concerns. That's what I love about my Mom...she always, always goes to God for guidance. It seems so easy for her, very natural. I hope that someday my faith can be as strong as hers, where immediately I look towards God.

I love my Mom and am so proud of her!! My Mom starts student teaching next semester! She started college back in 2004 when I first went to college! And in May she graduates as a DOUBLE major in, Elementary Education and History!!

So, for 2010...I have another goal to be more like my Mom and focus my concerns to God, both good and bad.
